Plans

The Edinburgh Partnership is responsible for developing plans which describe our priorities and planned improvements. There is a city-wide Community Plan also known as the Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) that concentrates on key priorities where additional joint action is needed and has the greatest potential to address poverty and inequality in the city. There are also four locality improvement plans also known as  Locality Improvement Plans (LIPs)  which focus on local priorities. The localities are:

The Ending Hunger in Edinburgh Strategy sets out a vision, principles, and outline actions needed to address poverty related hunger. It is part of the city’s response to the Edinburgh Poverty Commission’s call to end poverty in Edinburgh, and recognises that ending poverty related hunger needs action to tackle the root causes of poverty.
